TOURIST SEASON IN VENICE

Spring in Venice:

March
in this month there is the Venice International Boat Show, it is a “Festival” of the Sea devoted to those people who love boats and the sea. It is: exposure and tests in water of sailboats and motorboats, sporting events, meetings, workshops, fashion, exhibition.

April
“Su e zo per i ponti”: is a no competitive walk around Venice, discovering unknown area of the city. As so souvenir of the show, all the partecipants will get a medal.

May
Sinphonic Season in “Teatro la Fenice” and in other Venetian Theatres.
Summer in Venice

June
from June to November open the famous International Art Exhibition in Gardens to Biennale.

July
In the 2nd Saturday of July ther is the marvelous Feast of the Redeemer, fireworks in St. Marc’s bacin.
Moreover will open the summer season in Lido’s Venice beaces.

August
The famous International Film Festival in Lido’s Venice.

Autumn and Winter in Venice:

September
Opens the Opera Season in the Theater the Fenice, is the best month for visit Venice and your Islands.

October
It is the best month for romantic toer along the “Brenta canal”, Venice were enriched by magnificent Summer estates and the villa became the answer to the need of evasion of rich lords of Venice, more than 2000 villas. Some magnifique villas are: Villa Pisani, Villa Malcontenta Villa Barchessa Valmarana, Villa Gradenigo etc. 

November
Every year Novembar 21st is celebrated whith a procession, led by the Patriarch, leaving St. Marc’s Square, leading over a pontoon bridge across the Gran Canal and coming to a solemn end at the Church S. Maria della Salute. Morower Novembar is the tipicall period of “acqua alta” when the laguna water flood Venice streets ”Calli”. .

Dicember January
Christmas season and the Last Day of the Year are very beautifull and particular in the Lagoon, when the “Gondole” are covered of snow, the St. Mark square is magic. In St. Marc Square traditional fireworks, Venetian music and Christmas music, distribution of sweets, mulled wine for all watching.
